Veranda Dad’s are the best!  Honor Dad by taking him to the Globe at the Beach and treat him to a big Beach breakfast. His taste buds will light up when he sees the breakfast before him of Bacon, Sausage, Eggs a la Dad, hashbrowns, grilled mushrooms, baked beans and toast with OJ and his favorite coffee and a muffin, plus a free beer for Dad. You’ll have to wheel him away from the table after a spread so yummy!

Canadians love Veranda Beach and we love Canadians!  Come celebrate Canada Day at Veranda Beach!

Wear your red & white with pride & come to the Boardwalk for face-painting and tatoos!  Salmon Barbeque from 5-7:30 pm & watch the Osoyoos fireworks from the Beach or your boat at dark!

Traditional Canada Day festivities will be taking place in Osoyoos, BC just a half an hour north of Veranda Beach. Pancake Breakfast, parade, opening ceremonies, great food, crafts, entertainment, games and ending the fun-filled day with a 30 minute fireworks show known as one of the best in Canada, at 10:00 pm! Cruise on out in your boat from Veranda Beach and have a spectacular view of the show!  Schedule & Details of Osoyoos’s Canada Day events will be in the Activities Kiosk at the Front Desk.

4th of July is a day of celebration where family & friends come together to enjoy the sun, picnics, parades, watermelon, apple pie and fireworks! A day to appreciate this nation’s freedom. What better place to celebrate, than Veranda Beach!   Join us for our Independence Day Celebration Barbeque on the Beach, S'mores round the firepit, and watching Oroville's fireworks from the Beach or your boat!

Veranda Beach is proud to host the kick-off to the 4th annual Tumbleweed Film Festival and wine tasting. This film festival was created to bring the love of independent filmmaking and independent winemaking together, and what better venue than a backdrop of the beautiful Okanogan Valley and Lake Osoyoos, at Veranda Beach. Breadline Diner will offer a culinary delight, while you grab a glass of wine and join the entertainment of the evening. Enjoy short films from around the world, and offer your vote for the “pick of the night”.  Mingle with the filmmakers and find out what inspired their creation. Bring your lawn chair, or pull up a blanket. Veranda Beach is looking for that Ultimate Champion in their 2nd Annual Ultimate Challenge.  Two Challenges offered, for all ages in each challenge. Choose one and join in the fun!

9:00 am The Challenge ~ This challenge is for the “strong in spirit”!

This non-stop event will “gear-up” in the morning, at the Lake, where the contestant will plunge in and race to the Swim Platform, around and to the shore. Warmed up yet? Well you better be, because after the swim you sprint from the Beach to your bikes in front of the Check-in building. Hop on your bike and pedal up the switch back to the base of Cactus Mountain where you will climb on up the mountain, where you might claim the title “King of the Mountain” challenge. Who will be the Champion of the Challenge? The Beach will give medals to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place finishers in each level.
 
•    Adults ~17 years & up
•    Teens ~ 14 – 16 years

10:30 am The Mini Challenge ~ This challenge is for the “young in spirit”!

This challenge will have most all the components of the “The Challenge”, but with shorter lengths and, less elevation change.
Swim from the Beach to the Swim Platform and back to shore.
Sprint from green space to Check-in Building in Village Center.
Bike from Check-In Building to route through Beachside Cottages and return to possibly claim the title “King of the Beach” challenge.

Kick off your shoes and bring your bathing suit, Veranda Beach’s BBQ beach party is about to begin. Join in the fun, beach volley ball, hula hoop twirling and more.

We will be rolling out the BBQ and grilling up a storm on the beach. Juicy burgers, heavenly hot dogs and succulent chicken with all the fixin’s. Buckets of Beer and refreshing Margarita’s all on special and served right to your lawn chair. Ice cream for the kids...and big kids! Get your refreshment tokens at the Breadline Diner and exchange them for your choice of BBQ feast down on the sand.

Don’t miss out on the fun!   Due to popular demand and to build on previous good times had by all, the 5th annual Veranda Beach Golf scramble has been booked for Saturday, August 31st at the Oroville Golf Club.  Registration forms will be available soon.

Join us for the day to participate and experience the excitment of harvesting our 3rd harvest of Barbera Grapes, Riesling & Sangiovese. Come dressed for a day in the vineyard overlooking beautiful Lake Osoyoos in it's fall splendor!  EXACT DATES TBA

Join us for a relaxed sunset evening on our private beach sipping and savouring six different Okanagan Sparkling Wines, paired with fresh oysters and caviar tapas.

Learn how to “saber” a champagne bottle, and explore the differences that terroir and technique can bring to the sparkling wine.

Then relax in your lawn chair around the firepit, toast housemade marshmallows, and enjoy the sounds of local musicians playing live on the beach!

An all day family event - with something for everyone, including the kids!  The main focus of the festival is, of course, wine. More than 30 wineries will be in attendance, all eager to please your palate with varietals from their cellars. However, the festival is much more than just wine. The festival will have many different food vendors, merchandise vendors from local stores and boutiques, live entertainment, games, a grape stomp and everyone's favorite, Jerseyland Organics' cheeses.

Join us on October 12th for a Vineyard Picnic inspired by Tuscany from 12 - 3 pm.  We'll start with a casual vineyard stroll with our Vineyard Manager, Finis Hale, enjoying a little education on the skills of the grape grower. Then be seated with your fellow guests at our outdoor viewpoint pavilion and enjoy a 3 course rustic Italian inspired lunch, paired with 3 Tuscan style wines from boutique wineries of the South Okanagan. Experience the onset of fall and the changing colors of Washington's Okanogan and British Columbia's Okanagan Valley with awe inspiring views from your table along the length of Lake Osoyoos. After lunch take part in our fun Bocce tournament on our official Bocce courts.
