In a region with a flourishing wine industry, Veranda Beach, with its unique combination of sandy soil and an ideal microclimate, is poised to join the ranks of the outstanding vineyards of the area.

This year, under the guidance of highly-respected Okanagan Valley grape grower Richard Cleave, Veranda Beach saw its first planting - five acres of Barbera grapes. These grapes produce long-aging, robust red wines with a deep color and intense, rich fruit flavors.

Soon we’ll be enjoying our first vintage, bottles of our own Veranda Barbera. In addition, our Cottage owners can look forward to the annual harvest and exclusive privileges such as first access to new vintage releases, guest vintner wine tastings, educational opportunities at the Resort or an invitation to the winemaker’s dinner. And as a Cottage owner you will also enjoy exclusive use of the Vineyard Pool & Pavilion with its private heated pool, terrace, outdoor kitchen and BBQ area.
